Traditionally, teachers teach their class through a textbook, but one teacher from Monta Vista High School in California goes beyond that. Business teacher Carl Schmidt from Monta Vista High School shares how he teaches by allowing his students to gain real life experience through a marketing organization called DECA. Providing a chance to gain experience, earn leadership positions, and make connections, DECA is a great place for students who wish to excel in the business world. Mr. Schmidt talks about what his students can gain through DECA and how he and the Monta Vista DECA chapter have become so successful.
