Most people are in a rush in the mornings: you have less than an hour to get dressed and eat breakfast. With this time limit, packing lunches may seem like a hassle. However, there is a simple solution to quickly prepare your lunches.
The most important step of this process happens on the weekends, or whenever you have free time. Think of a few simple lunch options that you enjoy. Be sure to include ingredients from different food groups so that your lunch is balanced. Meat, vegetables, and grains are the most important parts of lunch. Good options for lunches are sandwiches, fruits, and crackers. Make the lunches, and keep them in plastic bags or containers. Store the perishables in the fridge, and you’re good to go.
Now, on the weekdays, you don’t have to worry about preparing your lunches. Before you leave for school or work, you can just grab a few lunch options, put them in a bag, and go. This can save you a couple of minutes, which can help you spread out your morning activities.
