I’ve had a recent fascination with Elon Musk’s newest company, The Boring Company. It’s a clever name, and it’s interesting to see how tunnels have an impact on today’s life. Elon Musk loves tunnels, at first complaining about LA traffic and then imagining digging. He wants to avoid traffic jams in the future by using series of underground tunnels and to me, that sounds like a pretty sweet deal. He wants the tunnels under cities to be used for cars, bikes, and even people. The Boring Company, still a new company, has carved out its first tunnel, connecting the SpaceX building with a parking lot across the street. A good first step, but the dream is very ambitious. We can only wait and hope that the dream comes true, for all of our sakes.
