Being productive and getting the most work done in a given time can be challenging for many reasons. However, there are a few ways to help improve your productivity and finish your task quickly.
Setting a timer can be beneficial to your productivity, as you can divide your working time into intervals. The Pomodoro technique is an excellent example of this. Set your timer for a short amount of time, at most an hour, an focus only on your task until your time is up. Take a break, then reset your timer and continue working. You can accomplish more by working with high concentration in short bursts rather than working with low concentration for a longer time.
Another tip is to find the time of day when you have the most time or energy. This will vary from person to person, but most people have a few hours when their willpower increases. Try to find your own personal productivity area and take advantage of this time to implement longer work sessions. Using this time will let you finish more as you may feel it is easier to work.
Doing a significant amount of work quickly can still be difficult, but you can potentially help end your struggles by managing your time wisely.
