HEARTS (Help Everyone And Remember To Share), The Silicon Valley Teen Club, in partnership with the Global Leadership Initiative, jointly hosted the 2015 Youth Business Excellence Award. This award was created to honor student leaders and aspiring business professionals who made significant contributions to local businesses or were outstanding in their respective schools’ business clubs. Sixteen awards were given to the top high school business leaders in the Bay Area, including many DECA and FBLA members. Tim, an awardee, said, “it is an honor to receive an award like this.” He is determined to continue with DECA next year and continue his efforts studying and practicing business.
Albert Zeng, HEARTS president and a California DECA Vice President, presented the awards. He explained that the purposes of the award are to recognize student achievement and promote students’ pursuit of leadership and business excellence.
